Platinum Homes, LLC, is pleased to announce that it is breaking ground on a new LEED gold certified home for a well deserving US Veteran located at Wild Pointe Ranch in Elizabeth, Colo.! The home is being sponsored by “Homes for Our Troops” organization and by several local supplier / subcontractor donors. Featuring the latest technologies in building envelope science, geo-thermal mechanical system and Solar PV, this home will use little, if any, outside energy from the power grid. The three-bedroom ranch style home will be approximately 2,600 s.f. of finished space and feature a beautiful open floor plan design for casual, comfortable living. When completed, the home will be given free to a returning veteran from the current Mideast war. Planned completion is March 2011.
Foundation construction is set for the week of November 1, with framing beginning the week of November 15.
