Many things have happened since our last post on our LEED Home project – trying to catch up!
December 10 – 12 – With the help of approximately 120 people, we constructed a 2700 square foot home in 3 days. On the 3rd day (Sunday) our LEED Homes for Our Troops project home was framed, sided, roofed, completely dried in with windows and doors and 95% rough electrical installed! We wish to thank all of our volunteers, subcontractors and suppliers for their generosity!
In the following week leading up to Christmas, rough out plumbing and the mechanical system’s duct work were installed.
In the month of January, we completed a duct blast test, insulated and installed drywall, taped, textured and installed the radon mitigation system.
We are now in the process of installing tile, trim and hardwood flooring —- moving along with great speed — yet with precision.
